Craps is a dice game. The players bet on the outcome of a series of throws with two dices. The players can bet aginst each other, so called street craps, or against the bank, casino craps.
Casino craps goes like this:
The casino places odds for the payments on the different number values on the table. The players places their bets on the values. Then, the players rolls (actually throws) two dice on turn.
The one who rolls the dice is called The Shooter. The other players at the table can bet on the shooters throw. This game is played in several rounds, and the first throw in each round is called the come-out roll.
Those who want to be the shooter must bet a minimum on either the Pass line or the Don’t pass line. These are some times called “Win” or “Right” and “Don’t win” or “Wrong“. the right to roll the dice follows the clock around the table.
A player who’s next to roll can refuse to roll, but choose to bet on the result of the other rolls.
The shooter must choose 2 from 5 dice from the Stickman. The stickman is the dealer who holds the dice.
If the shooters come-out roll is 2,3 or 12, it is called craps. The rolls end and the players loose their pass line bets.
If the outcome is 7 or 11 it is called “natural” and the pass line bets win. The come-out rolls for the shooter continue until a “point” is established.
If the point number is 4,5,6,8,9 or 10, this will be the number, point, and the come-out roll is over. The dealer will then move an “On”-button to the point number. The players will continue until they get the point number or 7. If a player gets the point number the result is win for the pass line bets.
If the shooter gets a 7 , also called “seven out” the pass line bets will lose. Seven out ends the round and the dice are given to the next shooter.
Those who rolls the dice must do it in such a way that the dice hit the wall on the end of the table, in order to prevent any cheating.
